I have been helping people reduce stress, release pain and get (re)acquainted with their bodies since the mid 90’s. My first love is massage.
I have been active in the massage community since 1999 when I first began teaching business in the massage program at The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage. I went on to teach many subjects, including massage technique and hydrotherapy. I am currently teaching a the Austin Community College program and have a small, unique private practice in my cat friendly home in South Austin.
The stress of living in today’s environmentally, financially and emotionally complicated world can lead to many pressures on the body systems, resulting in:
- Lowered immune system
- Chronic pain
- Low performance and poor focus
- Emotional ups and downs such as depression and anxiety
Having a massage with me is a holistic experience. You get my 25 plus years of body education and massage experience combined with my training as a neuro coach. That means, in our consultation before each session I am able to get a clear picture of what’s happening in your body and how it relates to your daily living, habits and thinking. I then design a session that will bring you to successfully resolve your challenge this session and allow the body to bring itself back into balance*.
